Is Anushka Sharma regretting replacing Rajkummar Rao in 'NH10'?

When Anushka Sharma came on board of Navdeep Singh's 'NH10', she did not restrict herself to being just an actress. She also turned co-producer of the film.

Anushka then took matters in her own hands and apparently got co-actor Rajkummar Rao replaced by Neil Bhoopalam (who acted in the TV series, '24', as Aditya Singhania).
Now that Rajkummar has bagged a National Award for Best Actor, tongues have been wagging in B-Town about Anushka's decision of replacing him. How times change. Anushka recently began shooting for the film in Rajasthan.

As they did not have the required cash in hand for the duty, they had to wait till the duty was cleared.

Tanisha Mukerji's simply elegant style

Actress Tanisha Mukerji believes in making a statement even if it's a subtle one. Fond of long, pretty dresses, she has a frill phobia and finds Brad Pitt very stylish. Here are her style mantras

Style talk
To me, style means how you carry yourself. It is a reflection of your personality. You could be classy and elegant one day, and funky and fabulous the next. We women have all such aspects to our personality and our style is an expression of just that. Always try to make a statement even if it is understated elegance.

Girlie day out
When I am not working, I slip into long, pretty dresses as they lend a typical feminine look. On my off day, I like to pamper myself with some grooming, say, getting a pedicure done.

Party animal
I enjoy wearing clothes that are fun and have funky elements that set my mood for a good time. Frills scare me - just a bit is alright but lots of frills is a complete no-no. You can always trust a big statement neck piece to complete your look.
Fashion icons
If I had to pick one Bollywood actress, who dresses to the T, it has to be Deepika Padukone, especially when Anahita Shroff Adajania styles her. Among actors, I love how Arjun Rampal carries himself. From Hollwyood, I like the fashion sense of Brad Pitt and Anne Hathaway.

Staying gorgeous
I go for regular facials and eat healthy to keep my skin young and glowing. I am not in favour of colouring my hair too much or styling it. But when I do, I make sure that I oil my hair and go for spas to reverse the damage.

Fashion forecast This year, I foresee lots of colour, classic cuts, biker pants and beautiful long hair rocking the fashion scene.

Happy Wedded Life, Rani

It's ironical that Rani Mukherje, now Rani Chopra(or is it the more politically correct Mukherjee-Chopra?) opted for secret shaadi far away from home in Italy.

I remember when she had not been invited for Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's wedding Rani had told me, `Koi baat nahin. When I get married everyone I know will be invited.`

Well, that was not to be. After months and years of speculation-are they already married?-Rani tied the knot with her beau the scion of Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra. Not known to be social, gregarious, or even outgoing Aditya chose a quiet wedding away from the public glare.

A very close friend of the Chopra family says, `It is typical of Adi to steal away from the limelight to get married. He would never have chosen a public wedding. In fact Rani was keen on a ceremonious wedding. But Adi who takes all the decisions on the couple's behalf, insisted on a very private ceremony far away from home.`

Apparently Rani was sworn to secrecy.

One of the her closest friends in the industry , an epic filmmaker, says, `She told me nothing about this. But I'm not surprised. I think Rani and Adi had actually married a year back. This is just their way of making it more public.`

With the marriage a very important chapter begins in the life span of Yashraj Films. Rani, informs a close friend of the Chopra family, will take very close interest in the running of the family.

`She loves playing the boss's wife. She played that role for the last two years. At Yashraj they treated like the maalkin. Now that it's official Rani will a hundred percent take active interest in the running of the family business. That includes running through scripts. And yes, she also plans to direct a film besides completing the family film Mardaani where she plays the hero.`The silent entry of Rani's brother Raja into the Yashraj fold just a fortnight ago was an indication that the Mukherjees' interests would be merging with the Chopras.

The Adi-Rani marriage also paves the way for Uday Chopra's marriage. According to a close friend of the family the younger scion of the Chopra family is super-keen to settle down in life and have a `brood` of babies.

Apparently a second marriage in the Chopra family is in the offing.

The lucky bride to be is apparently Nargis Fakhri.

`They were only waiting for Adi and Rani to make their relationship public before taking the plunge. And the Uday-Nargis marriage would be dhoom-dhaam se.`

Dhoom 4, anyone?

Kangna meets her dacoit fans

Actress Kangna Ranaut and the crew of her upcoming film 'Revolver Rani' was in for a shock during a shoot in Chambal

When director Sai Kabir and his team landed in Chambal to shoot for their upcoming film, 'Revolver Rani', they were in for a real shocker. The unit, sources say, ran into some dacoits who then blocked their entry into the village.

A 'Revolver Rani' crewmember says, `Not many people were aware about the fact that we were shooting a major portion of the film in Chambal. We had planned to not spread a word about the shoot, as we wanted to avoid attracting unnecessary attention, especially since this was a dacoit-riddled area.

But as it happens, we ran into some dacoits on the first day itself. A total of eight cars pulled up before us. Covering their faces and carrying guns, these dacoits kept us asking one question after another. They wanted to know why we had come down and what we were up to.`Incidentally, the cast was travelling with police, but it seems that the latter was of hardly any help to the unit. Says Sai Kabir, `Yes, we faced some issues while shooting for our film in Chambal. Our cars were stopped at the toll plaza and we had to satiate their curiosity.

After answering a series of questions, they finally let us go. Our security couldn't do much because these people were carrying machine guns. In fact, upon realising that we were shooting with Kangna, they expressed a desire to pose with her. We had to politely turn them down before we made a move.`
