Alia named face of Garnier Fructis

Actress Alia Bhatt has been announced as the face of hair care brand Garnier Fructis in India. She believes in taking good care of her locks. 

The "Highway" star considers her hair "very important" and trusts Garnier Fructis shampoo.

"I love its fruity, long lasting fragrance and the way it leaves my hair feeling nourished and strong. The new Garnier Fructis shampoos and conditioners have been specially developed for Indian hair," she said in a statement.

She even tweeted about her association with the brand.
"Fructis has changed, change to Fructis! Guess who is the new brand ambassador for @FructisIndia - ME! Super excited about this :)," she posted on Twitter Monday. 


The 21-year-old also endorses the Pure Active range of face washes from Garnier.

Bips gives mahurat clap for her next

Actress Bipasha Basu is geared up for her upcoming horror-love film project tentatively titled "Alone". She recently gave the mahurat clap for it.

Produced under the banner of Panorama Studios, the Bhushan Patel-directorial is the Bollywood remake of the Thai horror film "Alone".

Bipasha gave the clap at the grand mahurat held here June 7 for the film in the presence of the director, co-producers Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Pradeep Aggarwal, Prashant Sharma and Pankaj Aggarwal, actor Karan Singh Grover and dialogue writer Shagufta Rafique, said a statement.
"A love story with chills, my new film is tentatively called 'Alone' co-starring Karan Singh Grover," the "Raaz 3" actress posted on Twitter Monday.

The shooting of the film is currently in progress in the suburbs of the city.

Shilpa Shinde back in serial 'Chidiya Ghar'

Shilpa Shinde has played comedy roles in Maiyka, Bechara Big B, Lajpathganj - Ek Baar Phir and Bhabhi. Now she will be back in the serial Chidiya Ghar, which she had left after one year for another challenging role in Lajpathganj - Ek Baar Phir. Shubhangi Atre had relaced her in Chidiya Ghar. Now again Shilpa Shinde will play the role of character Koyal.

Shilpa Shinde says,"I do not want to be type casted in a single role. I played Koyal in Chidiya Ghar for 1 year. That time, my father health was also not well and 1 year in a serial is considered a long time. So, I took up the role in Lajpathgang. Now, I am back and hope people will give the same response what I had received last time."
